Animal print Slipcover

This slipcover was done in a beautiful animal print chenille. This fabric had great stretch to it and worked very well. The chenille washed beautifully and the customer will be able to wash this at home. It was a lot of fun working with the animal print after working on so many white slipcovers recently.

Here is the slipcover back at the customer's home. Bella is happy to have her settee back.

Having fun with Ticking!

My customer found this great settee at a house sale in her neighborhood for a steal. I had a lot of fun making this slipcover. The fabric had a nice stretch to it and was a dream to work with. The fabric had a nice weight to it and did not have to be lined.

Here is a before picture.

Wow! What a difference with the new slipcover! I love the little knife pleats.

The arm was a little tricky to work with but I liked the challenge.

Stay tuned for more fun with ticking. The next slipcover I am working on will be done in another ticking fabric in almost the same colors.

Slipcovered Settee

Today, I enjoyed visiting my friends at Chic Unique in Chagrin Falls. What appeals to me about Chic Unique, is that Carrin keeps the store looking fresh with a constant display of new items. This ensures that you'll never visit the same store twice, and always want to come back for more.

I brought her an adorable settee fitted with a soft white denim slipcover. I posted lots of pictures. Enjoy!

Here is the front window display of Stash Style that faces Main Street.

This is the beautiful slipcovered settee I delivered today. Although Carrin was in the middle of rearranging her items, I managed to get some pictures with her help.

An artistic picture by my niece Cassandra. Well, all the pictures are taken by her.

Stash Style added a Yarn section in a cozy nook in the back of the store. I love the way she uses drawers on the wall to display the yarn.

This great shade was in the yarn section.

Chic Unique

After the Summer Market, I brought the slipcovered furniture back to my workroom. I was really hoping to sell all of it at the show, however I ended up having to bring everything back. I was in desperate need of freeing some space in my workroom, so I called Carrin Andress, owner of Chic Unique in Chagrin Falls, and she agreed to put my slipcovered furniture on consignment in her shop. Chic Unique is a great shop found inside Stash Style at 46 North Main Street, Chagrin Falls, OH. She posseses such great style and carries a wide variety of beautiful vintage items. She usually offers a lot of white painted furniture, which I love. I love everything in her shop. I knew my slipcovers would fit in with her unique style. Not only is it great to clear out my workroom but it is great exposure. Here are some pictures of my slipcovers displayed in her shop.

If you are ever in historic Chagrin Falls, Ohio be sure to visit Stash Style!!

Thank you Carrin!

Here is my niece Cassandra carrying a bag of goodies we bought, and some other views of different areas of Stash Style..

All photos taken by my niece Cassandra. Thanks Cassandra!
